Dear Webmaster, where are you? No information about our favorite Author ... That is not the way to live ... How fortunate that we can enjoy the benefits of the Internet and facilities offered by computer technology. All the old problems remain , but at least we can talk about them in this forum ... Regards

If the moderator wants, could certainly remove my post, but whatever I have claimed it’s based on newspaper articles and I do not remember Julian Barnes and his wife bringing an action for defamation against anyone. And then I could claim that Barnes is not respectful of the readers when he writes in his ‘LEVELS OF LIFE’ that he had a happy marriage for 30 years with a woman who was characterized by her privacy and dignity. If Julian Barnes had some dignity, he should have changed his name to JULIAN PAT KAVANAGH and used BARNES as a pseudonym. I wonder if there is one book which is dedicated to another person except Mrs.Pat?  How many books has his father written for his mother? But maybe Barnes’s mother was just a DULL wife who worked as a teacher and looked after her family and was not fucking with other WOMEN, like her daughter in law.... So no books and no dedications!And finally I will answer your defence line for your LITERARY HERO with his words from the ‘Sense of an Ending’: “That’s one of the central problems of history, isn’t it? The question of subjective versus objective interpretation,the fact that we need to know the HISTORY of the HISTORIAN,or the history of THE AUTHOR(see JULIAN BARNES) in order to understand the VERSION being put in front of US!!!!"   |
