We took the free books we were offered,like everyone else did. We sat there to listen to Mr.Julian Barnes,like everyone else did. It seemed to us that Mr.Barnes had come to share with US parts of his STORY,but not his actual STORY. There was something missing?! He did NOT convince US!!
Mr.Julian Barnes has written in the'Sense of an Ending' that "Mystification is simple:clarity is the hardest thing of ALL",but to US he seemed like he prefers the 'easy' MYSTIFICATION.
Mr.Barnes has developed some theories about memory,life,love etc. but neither his theories seem to be convincing,nor he seems to be certain of his theories!!
So why should we trust HIM?
Why should we trust a 'dark' Passive UNRELIABLE(a bit like Tony) NARRATOR,like Mr.Julian Barnes?
